The dust in the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state looks to be settled with the 2027 general elections fast approaching.
This is according to the outcome of the Oyo state House of Assembly reconciliation committee’s stakeholder’s meeting which took place on Sunday at the International Conference Center ICC University of Ibadan.
The 12-man Committee led by Alhaji MUFTAU ADISA in a communique read by its Co-Chairman Aree ABISOYE FAGADE revealed that the majority of the House of Assembly aspirants who participated in the primary election, including those who purchased nomination forms and those who did not, have demonstrated commendable sportsmanship, maturity and commitment to the unity of the Party and have expressed readiness to work harmoniously with one another and with the leadership of the Party towards securing electoral victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
Aare FAGADE added the reconciled aspirants pledged their support for the re-election of His Excellency, President BOLA TINUBU, GCFR, as well as the election of the APC candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and the Oyo State House of Assembly.

While commending the aspirants for placing the overall interest of the Party above individual interests and for demonstrating a willingness to work collectively towards strengthening the APC across the State, promised that their commitment will never go unnoticed.
In their remarks , some elders on the party Senator OLUFEMI LANLEHIN and Professor TAOHEED ADEDOJA urged all members of the party to work on the same goal of seeing the APC clear all seats in the 2027 general polls .

The Governorship candidate of the Party Senator SHARAFADEEN ALLI promised that every member of the party will be carried along through the 2027 campaign, during and after the election.
Senator ALLI also use the opportunity to debunk rumours that his entourage was stoned during a visit to Igbeti as reported in some sections of the media.

Senator ALLI also promised that his administration will give full backing to Local Government Autonomy when he assumes office as the Number One citizen of the state in 2027.
