Former Senator representing Kogi west senatorial district, DINO MELAYE has blamed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for putting all plans to destabilize the African Democratic Congress ADC, following the deregistration of the party`s national chairman DAVID MARK and national secretary RAUF AREGBESOLA.
INEC had on Wednesday through its National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, MOHAMMED HARUNA, announced the decision which hinged on a court order which directed the commission to maintain the status quo pending the determination of a suit challenging the legality of DAVID MARK’s leadership of the opposition party.
Reacting on the decision of INEC this morning during a television programme, Senator MELAYE blamed the ruling APC for using the electoral body to cause chaos in the coalition, saying former vice-national chairman of the party NAFIU GOMBE had resigned from the party and he has no reason to lay claim to the leadership position of the ADC.
DINO MELAYE who promised that the party is unshaken with the de-registration announcement also confirmed that the party will inform its teaming followers and members on the next line on in a press conference today at 2:00pm.
