The Nigerian Police Force has promised to beef up security in Borno state and continue a full investigation into the explosion that wreaked havoc in the northern state on Monday.
Recall that over 20 people were killed with many injured following bomb explosions around Monday Market in Maiduguri, and near a security post at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
Speaking this morning in Maiduguri, the police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Borno state command KENETH ADASU said the men of the force are working with other security agencies to forestall such attack in the state.
Recall, the Inspector-General of Police, OLATUNJI DISU, visited victims of the explosions receiving treatment at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) and conducted an on-the-spot assessment at the Maiduguri Monday Market bombing site on Tuesday.
