Oyo State government has begun plans to make the Bode Wasimi, Ibadan residence of late dramatist DURO LADIPO a museum.
The state`s Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, DR. WASIU OLATUBOSUN who made this known during the DURO LADIPO MEMORIAL SYMPOSIUM in commemoration of the 2026 World Sango Festival, which was held on wednesday at the cultural center, Mokola hill Ibadan said the aim is to preserve the great works of the late icon who propagated the gospel of SANGO with his work of art.
DR OLATUBOSUN maintained that the government and his ministry will work with necessary bodies to make the plan a reality.

The symposium also witnessed a series of lectures from culture custodians on myths and reality of Sango.
