SOLUDO BEGINS SECOND TERM IN OFFICE AS ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNOR

Anambra State Governor CHUKWUMA SOLUDO has been sworn-in for the second term in office as the number one citizen of the state.

Governor SOLUDO took the Oath of office at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Akwa, the state capital on Tuesday alongside his deputy Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

Recall, Governor SOLUDO of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) returned elected after the 2025 election, polling a total of 422,664 votes to defeat his closest rival, NICHOLAS UKACHUKWU of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 99,445 votes, while the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Sir PAUL CHUKWUMA, came third with 37,753 votes.

Present at the swearing-in ceremony include, Vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, KASHIM SHETTIMA, former presidents, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO and GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN.
