Three abducted Cocoa Farmers from the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria CRIN have been released from their abductors .
Director of Human resources, CRIN Ibadan, Mr. ONATUNDE ONANUGA while confirming the development with DOKMEDIA correspondent today said the famers were released early this morning with the help of security agents.
Mr. ONANUGA also confirmed that an undisclosed ransom was paid before securing the release at different locations in the forest.
Recall five cocoa famers were attacked at the Nursery section of the Research institute on Wednesday, with three of them taken away by the Fulani herdsmen.
